A little about me

My experiences span many years in a variety of education settings as a teacher, leader, designer/creator, facilitator, learning partner, university lecturer and researcher. Working and learning with teachers, leaders and executive teams across school, regional and central office settings in both State Education and Catholic Education systems has been a privilege and experience of mutual growth and insight. In recent times my work has been as Lead Designer and Researcher with EdPartnerships International.

It was during a period of transition that I was compelled to undertake doctoral research that opened up the possibility of reframing of education systems as complex, adaptive, and emergent, and to investigate how leadership is enacted in these often-uncertain spaces. With a strong ecological perspective the capacities and potential of the human person were understood as integral to the emergent and regenerative capacities of the organisation – as a living system. The human person, not a cog in a machine in service to predictable and controlled outputs, but rather the human person as relational, with yearnings to belong, to be valued and to contribute to life.

I am currently working in a part time capacity at a university facilitating units in the Master of Educational Leadership program with a broad range of leaders from diverse settings across Australia. It is in this work that I bring a focus to organisational and nested system learning through the engagement with regenerative and ecological principles and their application for leaders in complex and emergent organisational spaces.

At all times these partnerships have been in service to creating the conditions for life centred regenerative change, through relational, dialogical and reflective processes and practices.

I am also a certified Warm Data Host and have created opportunities for communities to experience these enriching dialogues. And recently I participated in the Regenerative Leadership Immersion with Giles Hutchins and continue to work and learn with him, contributing a chapter to his recent book Keys for Future Fit Leadership

Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me. You are very welcome to connect with me so I can now learn about you.
